What Neighbors Say
Earthworks rebuilt our failing stone wall and regraded the whole side yard. Two heavy storms since and the basement has stayed bone dry. The crew was punctual, tidy and genuinely kind.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Twelve straight answers from our Norwalk crew.
We're based in Norwalk and work throughout Fairfield County — Westport, Wilton, Darien, New Canaan, Stamford, Fairfield, Weston and Greenwich. If you're within about 30 minutes of our yard, we can be on site.
Yes. Earthworks is fully licensed in Connecticut and carries general liability plus workers' compensation coverage. We're happy to send certificates before work begins.
Most Norwalk patios land between $28 and $55 per square foot depending on the stone, base depth, grading and access. We give a fixed written price after a site visit — no hourly surprises.
Always. We walk the property with you, take measurements and photos, discuss materials, and follow up with an itemized proposal within 3 business days.
A walkway is usually 2–4 days, a patio 1–2 weeks, and a full backyard with walls, lighting and plantings 3–5 weeks. Your proposal includes a realistic start and finish window.
April through November is ideal, but we build well into December using heated enclosures and cold-weather mortar. Winter is the smartest time to design and get on the spring schedule.
In most Norwalk neighborhoods, walls over four feet, work in wetlands buffers, or structures near a property line require permits. We handle the applications and engineering when needed.
Yes — repointing, resetting settled stone, rebuilding failed walls, and fixing drainage that caused the problem in the first place. Repairs are often a fraction of a full rebuild.
Drainage is half of what we do. French drains, dry wells, regrading, downspout extensions and permeable paving all get your water moving away from the house.
We do. Weekly mowing, spring and fall cleanups, mulch, pruning, fertilization and irrigation start-up/blow-out can be bundled into one flat monthly rate.
Two years on workmanship for hardscape and masonry, one full season on plantings we install and maintain, plus the manufacturer's warranty on pavers and lighting.
A deposit reserves your spot on the calendar, with progress payments at agreed milestones and the balance due at your final walkthrough. We accept check, ACH and all major cards.
